The UIS Biology Commission is one of the twenty official commissions of the International Union of Speleology UIS.
The main goal of the UIS Biology Commission is to support cave animal knowledge and cave protection through the Cave Animal of the Year campaigns.
The Commission consists of 44 specialists.
In-person meetings take place during the International Congresses of Speleology.
